Hello!

Welcome to SeeNaturally! Welcome to beginning to see naturally, without glasses or lenses again!

I have been enjoying the Spring sunshine, which is very welcome, and getting as much daylight as I can each day, as that’s so important for keeping our vision healthy. Sometimes I do my work outdoors, and I also eat as many meals outside as I can too.

And I also try to do plenty of regular Sunning… which is a real joy, as I find sunlight so uplifting and regenerating –  in every season – and it’s also wonderful for the vision.

I demonstrated Sunning recently, during a talk I gave recently to a group of patients at the New York Eye & Ear Hospital in Manhattan. I was invited to speak on how the Bates Method might help them to improve their vision naturally, (while still following the advice of their eye doctors of course). It was very well received; they all listened intently and were very interested in what I suggested, based on Dr Bates’ findings. As well as the Sunning, they also enjoyed trying out the palming, blinking and side vision activation. (You’ll find all of these demonstrated in my free ten video course, on my YouTube channel, SeeNaturally).

After speaking about the Bates Method, as requested in advance, I led them through a short Laughter Yoga session. They loved it and were laughing along with me really wonderfully. I was told by the organiser that afterwards, as they left the session, they were all really upbeat and happy. Who would have thought that scientific studies would prove that fake laughter has exactly the same health and mood enhancing benefits for the body as real, natural laughter? In fact, the benefits are so many and so amazing, it’s a wonder we don’t all practise it regularly.

As you can imagine, I was really pleased…and the experience filled me with a lot of joy too.

Rest your Eyes & See more Clearly – new November Workshop!

Hello!

I hope you’ll decide to come along to the ‘Rest your Eyes’ Workshop in November. I really look forward to showing you how to relax and de-stress your vision, and begin to gain more visual clarity.

Sitting here in the clear October morning sunshine, the air is cold, but the sun is warm and bright, and I know that although I’m using my laptop and looking at a screen, I’m also at the same time giving my eyes and whole body (and spirit), the benefit of SUNSHINE and natural daylight. Regular exposure to daylight is crucial for good, healthy vision.

You can learn more about this kind of first aid and nurture for the vision in the November workshop and on the Regain your Reading Vision Course in January/Feb next year. It really is possible to improve our eyesight, despite what we are told by society – if we relearn to use our eyes in the way they were designed to be used – in a relaxed, mindful and attentive way – as taught by the Bates Method. The results are astonishing.

Regain your Reading Vision for Beginners – new course starting Jan 2023!

Wow, this is an exciting course! Sunning and Palming

It’s been a long hot summer here in the UK, and a great chance to spend time outdoors in the natural light (we need two hours of this per day if possible to keep our vision healthy), and sunshine. Sunning, combined with Palming, is an incredibly effective way to release eye strain and improve the eyesight. Check out my videos (video2 8 & 9), on my YouTube channel SeeNaturally, to learn how to Palm and Sun –  and notice the benefits! The techniques can also effectively alleviate dry eye symptoms…giving you more relaxed, more comfortable and clearer vision – enjoy!

 

1-2 day 1:1 Vision Intensives

1-2 Day Intensives with Charlotte at the Wellum Clinic in Thame

 Book 2-4 hours of lessons per day with Charlotte over a few days, to make swift and lasting progress on your vision.

Lessons will take place at the tranquil, spacious and beautifully decorated Wellum Clinic, situated off the bustling High Street of the picturesque market town of Thame. We will also work in the private grassy area behind the clinic, and in a local park if desired, weather permitting!

Choose from a wide range of beautiful Airbnbs and hotels in the area, with access to a established gardens and open countryside views. Field and forest walks, National Trust properties and several other  pretty, quintessential Buckinghamshire villages are nearby.

The benefits of sunshine and upcoming courses

It’s so nice to see the sunshine sometimes on these early January days. When the sun’s shining, whenever I get the chance, I stop whatever I’m doing, go outside, turn to face the sun, close my eyes, and sense the warmth and brightness of the sun on my closed eyelids. It’s so nice to take a short slice of time out for me – to take care of myself and – nurture my eyesight. Getting regular time in sunshine and allowing the sunlight into the eyes and body is essential for maintaining good, healthy vision.
